We had dined at Mabel's several years ago and we found the food good and priced within reason. October 2008 was a completely different experience. We had a snippy waitress and the food was so overpriced we were shocked. I had an overcooked hamburger patty with mushrooms and a small cup of mushroom barley soup. $9.99.
