A beautiful view overlooking the ocean from the 3rd floor, open air restaurant. Great music in the background, colorful decor, friendly staff and owner (Troy) and $1. drinks. The best deal in Puerto Villarta. We can not wait to get back! more

The Cheeky Monkey is awesome. Troy, the owner, is a real down to earth guy who is a constant figure around the bar. The dollar beers and margaritas are the best deal I was able to find in town (even with the happy hour "specials" going on). The view is absolutely awesome and the food is pretty good as well.... more

Looking for a place to have a bite to eat, a few drinks, and people-watch on the Malecon? The Cheeky Monkey/Terrazzana is the place. Quality Italian food at reasonable prices, $1 margaritas and bottles, and great views of the Malecon from the 2nd and 3rd floors. Have to agree with the other reviews that this is a great little open-air bar to laze away an afternoon or evening. Had great service with our $1 cervezas and margaritas, as well as several free tequila shots! Fun to watch the action on the Malecon and the fireworks from the pirate ship at night. more
