Camel back mountain provides panoramic views. It gives the hiker a sense of danger as she/he she looks over the edge of the precipice. This is an amazing hike and is great for kids too ( over the age of at least 8) It keeps them entertained, and is challenging for the avid hiker as well. more

Great challanging hike up Camelback Mtn. Get there early as parking lot is small and many cars can be waiting for a spot. I wasn't expecting a difficult climb, but this mountain is definitely a challenge for visitors without any hiking experience. It's a fun climb with challenging parts. There are great views on the way up. Must do if in Phx. more
