St Anton is the top Austrian resort and has some good and bad points. Austria is cheaper than France/Switz but St A is getting more expensive than a couple of years back. It has never been a budget holiday but you can drink/lunch in St A or Lech for the same price or less than London. Fabulous food and wine.... more

i loved st anton. i am not so good at skiing - i read reviews that said bumpy - what they shoul have said was moguls on every run and steep!. i lost my confidence. it is a beautiful resort and the lift pass covers lech which is much more appropriate for skiers like me. i would go back but... more

Stayed in the Appartments of Haus Am Fang owned by the Bastisti family. Very clean, large size, tyrolean style rooms.with lots of wood decoration. Excellent facilities for self catering. Went to St Anton for a combined holiday/honeymoon. Really pretty town with lots of bars, hotels and tons of ski hire shops.
