We were really disappointed by this Luau. We had been warned by friends not to bother with commercial Luaus but we thought we'd give it a shot. We asked around for the best one and this was recomended to us. The actual location is about a 40min bus journey from Wakiki and is a beautiful setting. Very aptly named. However...... more

This is the fourth Luau I have been to. I enjoyed the first three (one in Kauai and two in Maui) over the last 20 years of coming to Hawaii. My relatives I am traveling with had not been to a Luau before and our Hotel said Paradise Cove was great. The food was terrible, chicken was cold and dry,... more

To be fair, we were rained out, and did recieve our money back. I am grading them on their professionalism- Not that good. They have some art and crafts before the show and they are hokey at best. Making leis, rowing a canoe, how to tie a sarong, etc. and they all take about 10 minutes, but you get over... more

We both had a great time at Paradise Cove. It started a little hokey, but once the show started we had a good time. The food was amazing, MUCH better than I had expected and I even enjoyed the poi. Cousin Bob was our server and did a great job. The show was a lot of fun and the MC... more

I live on Oahu, I have grown up in Hawaii; I have been to all of the touristy shows and luaus offered on our island everytime I have guests come. This is absolutely the worst experience ever; an embarrassment to Hawaii and my community. I made the mistake of choosing this venue because I had never been to it, and... more

I've been to several luaus, and this is the 2nd time we went to PC. I like the grounds, that it feels like a little village, where there have parrots for pictures, and a few tables with folks making native crafts. Our daughter liked this aspect a lot. This was her 1st luau, other than the Polynesian at Disney. The... more

The price was low considering the cost of other luaus that we researched. We purchased a package that came with a flower lei and several drinks. We found that the location was lovely (as one might expect anywhere in Hawaii) and the show was very entertaining. The dancers were talented and enthusiastic. There were various activities, such as making flower... more

Okay folks, here's the deal- my sister has lived in Hawaii for over 8 years (military) and I've visited over 15 times. I've been to the Paradise Cove Luau four times because of the amazing discount you get through MWR in the military. The first few times I went (2003 & 4) I had a pretty good time. Like many... more

We went on 1/1/2008. VERY sleepy performance geared at romantic older crowd. They invited couples to dance to the Hawaiian wedding song and guess what - no one danced. Drinks were very watered down and expensive. Heard Germain's is more fun or go to happy hour first and go to the Polynesian Cultural center. The food was not very good.... more

This was our family's first trip to Hawaii so we wanted to 'experience' as much of the culture as we could. Obviously the luau's are a bit corny and staged etc but we wanted to experience one all the same. We were picked up at our hotel by Cousin Lyndon (driver Clayton) and had a very enjoyable trip to Paradise... more
