Stayed at cottage as a family week end. Ideal facilities as all rooms en suite which was good for my elderly parents. All rooms a great size with own tvs. Excellent facilities. Beautiful spot and close to travel in and around dumfries. Didn't eat at Craigadam as we were not given much info when asked what was for dinner on... more

We have just experienced yet another wonderful few day at Craigadam in Kircudbrightshire, which is the home of Richard and Celia Pickup. We have stayed at Craigadam regularly over the past 20 + years and always without fail, we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We stayed here for two nights for our wedding, I won't review the wedding although it was excellent and Celia was a fantastic host but I also recommend Craigadam as a great place for short break. The morning after the wedding we went downstairs for a fabulous breakfast with everything on offer from fresh fruit to a full Scottish breakfast... more
