My wife and I stayed at this hotel in 2005 and were very dissapointed. We paid more than £100 per night and stayed several nights withno discount on booking such a long stay. The room was dark and drab. The decoration being 1980s at the best and the room was very small. We entertained friends at the restaurant one evening... more

My brother booked rothley court for his wedding. the setting was beautiful and perfect for a romantic wedding. the staff were great and service good. the rooms in the main building were atmospheric. the wedding suite had a big wooden four poster and nice bathroom. my mum and dads room was very spooky with wooden walls and a lovely view... more

My husband and I stayed at Rothley Court for one night and found the room to be utterly disappointing. The fixtures and fittings were dated and the carpet had seen better days. A comfy double bed was dressed with clean but stained bed linen. Our room (17) was situated above the main entrance, which is something to bear in mind... more

A beautful setting and a lovely, historic building. Friendly, courteous, attentive staff but my room (number 10), situated at the top of the building in what must have previously been an attic was what can only be described as adequate (beautiful view though) . The decor was tired, outdated and generally shabby. The carpet was stained, TV signal non-existent, bathroom toiletries... more

Stayed here for 1 night with work. Overall room was adequate, although grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. Had dinner in the restaurant which was good however very pricey....dinner for 1 with a glass of wine for £40 is a little excessive. Breakast was also good, but service slow. more

Stayed there for just one night and was given a room in the annex. As it was raining heavily dragging my bags to my room in the dark was not a pleasant experience. When I got to the room I put the lights on only to find the room almost as dark as before, I called reception to see what... more

We stayed here for two nights in September. We got two rooms last minute directly from the website. With breakfast we paid less than £60 a night per room per night. I think the real price is over £100, so we had a great deal. There is a main hotel building and a mews building, we were in the mews,... more

This is a lovely hotel and the grounds are stunning, especially when lit up at night but you do have to pay for the privalige, are room was half price on a valentines special rate and was £65 which is more like it! Room was nice, bed comfy and our bathroom was fine, all in working order, there is nothing... more

I am happy to report that I agree with the majority of reviewers of this hotel. Rothley Court is nice hotel. Rothley Court is an impressive old building. The service and general approach to the running of the place is of a high quality. The gardens are well maintained and there is a stream and a cricket pitch over the... more

We stayed at the Rothley Court to attend a wedding in the area and to be honest, we were disappointed with what looked on Tripadvisor to be a lovely hotel. We booked for a Friday night, the booking confirmation was wrong, I requested a double room on the phone, but the email confirmation stated a single room had been booked.... more
