I stay at this hotel around 3 times a year and it cannot be faulted. It is in the most beautiful peaceful setting for those who just want to get away from it all. We always stay Dinner, Bed & Breakfast as the food is to die for. Breakfast you get a choice of cereals, meats, cheese, croissants, fresh fruit,... more

Returned from a 1 night stay and was looking forward to spending it away here. Arrived at 4pm and given room 105. View of loch which was lovely. Room was spacious, double bed, en-suite bathroom. Well equipped with tea/coffee and mineral/sparkling water. Booked dinner at 8pm, restaurant staff were very friendly and polite. Service was efficient and the food was... more

We have just had a very pleasant 3 day stay here. It was mid-week and not yet right in the season so the hotel was quite quiet but that suited us as we wanted some chilling out time not a party! I must say that to list it as Blairgowrie is a bit misleading as the nearest town is pitlochry.... more

My husband and I stayed here on a weekend deal which included Dinner, Bed and Breakfast and it certainly lived up to expectations. The hotel is situated at the end of a very windy road, but this added to its appeal as the views are amazing! We had a large executive double room which included a sofa and armchair, kingsize... more

This hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Great for getting away from it all for a weekend. Most of the rooms face the loch & ours was huge, with a sofa & armchair as well as king size bed & a large en-suite bathroom. The food in the restaurant was amazing!! Breakfast was a huge selection of... more

We fancied a night up in the Highlands, and this hotel has a lochside view and a spa - and seemed a good choice for a cold January day. The decor is a bit sad - I assume it must have been refurbished in a "traditional" vein around 1995 - and not much has been spent since. So the roaring... more

We stayed here for Hogmanay 2007/8. The price wasn't cheap, but we had half board for 3 nights including NYE. Our room was well appointed, bed comfortable, good bathroom, overlooking the loch. Nothing to complain about, yes we might have had an LCD TV and a power shower, but we didn't miss these. Anyway, this isn't a clone hotel like... more

Arrived there safely after ten and a half hours drive (in the pitch black) The road from Pitlochry is very narrow, winding and very up and down but the surface is great and the scenery is breathtaking! Journey from Pitlochry is an hour, longer if you are travelling in the dark! It is not ideal to go “out” to dinner... more
