I think the above review may be of a different hotel, this hotel is not attached to the train station. The Mecure sud is outside of the centre in a suburb. There is regular bus service to and from the centre, which is inexpensive and takes 5-10 minutes. The hotel has timetables. There are night buses after 8pm. The hotel... more

We arrived in Annecy without a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised when we found this hotel which was essentially connected to the train station. The location was more-or-less irrelevant since Annecy is so small, but we found this place to be clean, newly-renovated, and safe. The staff was very friendly, as well.
