The place itself is perfect... well kept, secluded, with great views, next to a river. The ideal getaway. We arrived just after they'd finished serving dinner, yet they got a couple of meals together for us. The only problems we encountered were; 1. You have to leave your key with reception whenever you go out, which is fine, except that... more

Nice, family run hotel. Very friendly, lady at breakfast particularly helpful. Just outside Dinas Mawddwy, and if you want a taste of true Welsh village life, go to the LLew Coch in Dinas Mawddwy, this is an area where the Welsh language still comes first and visitors should not be surprised or, even more oddly, upset when Welsh is spoken... more
