celebrated sons 18th, stayed in two suites one of which had a secret door into the library ! Beautiful old house in lovely grounds with a spectacular central stairwell. We stayed here in July 2007 for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is a lovely listed building in a great location on the River Yealm, great walks in the grounds along the river. Would definitely recommend that you pay a little bit extra and go for one of the state rooms as they are really nicely... more
