We had a wonderful stay at Lilybank in October. Our hosts were wonderfully helpful, the rooms were great and there was a nice common area and kitchen for guests, and the Great Barrier Reef was beautiful. This very basic B&B lies just across the street from the train tracks, but our room in the rear of the house and the air conditioning kept the trains from bothering us. This has been the trird time I have stayed at the Lilybank. I discovered it from Fodors in 1998. When travelling alone a B & B is the best way to meet other people and the Lilybank is great for that.
