We stayed at the Virgin-exclusive Beach Club in the St James's Club resort for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in one of the ground floor rooms, which opened directly onto Coco's beach on the Atlantic side of the resort. The room was large with one king size and one single beds. While the temperature outside was... more

We stayed at The Beach Club at St James for 2 weeks and had a great time! It was our first visit to the tiny island of Antigua and it was just as beautiful as expected. The Beach Club is part of Virgin Holidays, and the Virgin staff were fantastic, as always! The flight was excellent with plenty of room,... more

Stayed all-inclusive at the Beach Club in July 2008. St James Club essentially comprises 3 parts – hotel rooms around the reception area (top of the crescent in the hotel’s panorama photo), the centrally located Beach Club accommodation facing the Atlantic Beach, and a complex of what I believe are timeshare apartments (bottom of photo). We did have a note... more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 14 day stay at the Beach Club in the St James resort, Antigua, and most aspects of our holiday were very good. Beaches and Pools There were beaches at both sides of the resort; one was usually busy with all-inclusive beach activities whilst the other was quieter and more relaxed. Both... more

We just returned from the St. James Club in Antigua. Overall it was a pleasant, relaxing experience. We stayed in a Superior oceanview room in the Papaya building. The room was large with a king bed/ large balcony/ sofa and two chairs and a very large bathroom with soaking tub/shower. We encountered two minor problems, a light bulb went out... more

My husband, myself and our 18 year old daughter stayed at the St James for 2 weeks from 9th July. We stayed in a premium room which was very clean and had a lovely view of the ocean. The room had a fridge, flat screen tv, tea/coffee making facilities and a large bathroom with a fantastic shower, large bath and... more

We stayed at this resort earlier in the year, we travelled with Virgin Holidays (which was excellent) for the first time. On arriving at the small airport in Antigua we were greeted with an ice cold drink of water and a friendly taxi man, who got us to our destination safely. On arriving at the beach club it definitely had... more

My wife and I stayed at the St. James' Club all inclusive for a week. Our first impressions were immediately tarnished as we had to wait an hour to be shown to our room because it was not ready! In view of the fact that we did not check in until 1500 we felt that this really should have been... more
