Just got back Sept. 25 and this place is alright. We stayed in the building across the road not in the main building but that was ok because it was very quiet over there. My friends and I just returned from a week at Cuatro Palmas. The people were very friendly and the entertainment team was amazing :) The service was also good. Despite the French management, our stay at the Mercure Cuatro Palmas has been almost perfect. The location is fantastic, since it is in the middle of Varadero Beach, so it means that you can easily walk outside property and enjoy the cuban village with a few shops.
