Hotel close to the village of Varadero, right on a very beautiful beach, consisting of a main building and several other buildings, of which the so-called "bungalows" are on a side street up to 400 meters away from the hotel. Unfortunately, we had booked a bungalow, since at the travel agents` we were not told that this option meant crossing... more

Stayed 3 nights at end of 2 week touring holiday. The situation of this Hotel is well balanced between the smart end of small town, and extended suberbs(east/west and beach and park (north/south). It looks and feels more characteristically Spanish Cuban than many of the 'could be anywhere' block shaped alternatives further along the Penninsula. In all it has the... more

Arrived to Cuba Sep 25/2008. Flight was easy, short. Arrived in Cuba, tour bus took us right to our hotel. It was a great! First impression of the resort was gorgious! The lobby was huge, couches, lounges, bar, washrooms, everything! The only thing is we arrived @ 10:30 am and we were not allowed to check in to our room... more

IMPRESSION OF THE RESORT: Nice, cozy and clean resort. They have fixed the tiles in the swimming pool so... more

Was at this hotel July 17 to 24. Package through Nolitor -Holidaymarket.com for around $700 including tax. Flew with Skyservice, no problems coming or going. Varadero Customs was ok except this time we had a “trainee” that kept my husband for a good half hour. I had already gone through without any questions asked and was relieved when he finally... more

My friends and I just returned from a week at Cuatro Palmas. The people were very friendly and the entertainment team was amazing :) The service was also good. I would recommend that those who come here remember to bring small gifts as tips for the maid each day. The rooms were clean and they were air conditioned as well,... more

Despite the French management, our stay at the Mercure Cuatro Palmas has been almost perfect. The location is fantastic, since it is in the middle of Varadero Beach, so it means that you can easily walk outside property and enjoy the cuban village with a few shops. There is also within walking distance a small museum and a very beautyful... more
