This is a great budget resort! Not to crowded, great beach, friendly staff, actually located in the town. We stayed in a superior room just a few steps from the beach. I've just returned from Cuba and I must disagree with some reviews. In my oppinion Villa Tortuga is one of the best placed hotels in Varadero. Just 5 mins to town is much better then over 30 mins from 5-stars hotels. The beach is lovely. Swimming pool is rather for children and the water is cold. Rooms are pretty good... more
