My husband and I have been to the Villa Cuba five times and we have always had a good time. People must know that when you go to Cuba do not expect the same standards that you may get at other Caribean resorts. We booked Villa Cuba after we had read up on the Arenas Doradas on this site. We did not think this was going to be a luxary hotel and our suspesions were confirmed very early in our stay. We got there on a Saturday and by Wendesay we were gone. The resort is old and tired . I could not... more

This is our 3rd trip to Cuba,and 1st time to Varadero. It has been the best so far! (We've been to Holguin Club Amigo and Club Santa Lucia Camaguey). Other than the fact we sort of missed 2 days due to travel, our vacation to Varadero Cuba was wonderful. The hotel itself was much better than I had anticipated. I read reviews from Tripadvisor.com just to know what we were about to venture into, but other than the Pepto Bismol pink walls in our room, the hotel was fine.... more
