This my first trip with my girlfriend to an All Inclusive, we had an open mind regard the star ratings on the hotels and food in Cuba. It took a lot of reading off Tripadvisor for us to pick this hotel and we are satisfied with our selection. Thanks to everyone who write these reviews! Flight Our package and plane... more

First, I would like to state that my review is completely based on my experience with other hotels in Cuba and especially Varadero. Therefore, the ratings and comments are adjusted based on expectations, not compared to Las Vegas Hotels so please consider this. My wife and I have stayed at Breezes Varadero twice, Bella Costa, Barlovento, Tuxpan, Brisas Del Caribe,... more

HOTEL - 3/5 The building is a bit older but still in fairly good shape and for the most part kept clean. The main building has two elevators and then there are separate rooms in smaller villas. *Pro: Easy to navigate *Con: A bit out of date ROOM - 3/5 Rooms are comfortable and clean even if the decor is... more

Overall my vacation in Cuba was amazing and Melia Las Antillas was not a bad choice. We were on a budget and you can still have lots of fun at this resort. Personally, I will try a 5 star the next time I go to Cuba. THE GOOD: Beach: Now this was absolutly amazing, the beach is so beautiful, the... more

This was our first visit to Cuba and first time to an "All Inclusive" Resort. Before booking the trip, I did a lot of research on the internet and I can tell you, it is not easy with all the reviews I read. Some would say that the hotel is amazing and some would hate it completely, In the end,... more

Melia Las Antillas is a great spot for anyone. My favourite thing about this hotel is that you have options the whole time you're there! This was not my first time, and it will not be my last. I have been to other sun destinations - Mexico, Dominican, but I can tell you Varadero is still my favourite. Single Travellers*... more

Stayed at this resort during the first week of July, with my boyfriend (we are both 23). It was not our first time at an All Inclusive, but it was the first time we went to Cuba. Our expectations were not high & we ended up being pleasantly surprised. SERVICE (4/5) At the restaurants & bars the staff were helpful... more

This place was sooooo good! There were no bratty kids because it's an adult only hotel and everything was very decadent. The lobby was spectacular and wasn't as colorful as all those other Cuban hotels. It was more modern and palatial. The beach was beautiful, but that's a given. The pool side was spectacular and again, what made it great... more

My husband and I went to Melia Las Antillas for our honeymoon in april '07. The hotel was recomended to us by a travel agent, and we were to busy planning the wedding to actually read up on where exactly we were going. As it turned out, we should have paid more attention to this matter, as the agent told... more

Took all my adult "family" (niece & boyfriend, nephew & girlfriend and my own boyfriend) to this resort for the week of May 18-25. We got there around 10:00 at night and they made room for us to eat at the Romantico restaurant. Very nice welcome.... after the check-in where the reception clerk insisted we exchange money right away to... more
