We went to Casa De Campo in like April of 2008, and it was gorgeous. We stayed in a 4 bedroom villa, very resonably priced with our own pool. The whole villa was very spacious and cozy, except the bedrooms were the only areas airconditioned, which was kind of a problem in the heat of the day. 7,000 acres, and... more

OMG...This is by far the best place I have ever stayed! This resort is over 8 miles of fun. Casa de Campo is a giant golf resort (I don't play) I was there for a friend's wedding. We had a great all-inclusive package that was expensive, ($1,200/per person for 3 nights, four days) but well worth it. My group was... more

Our family along with 3 other families were in Casa de Campo for 10 days and loved it. We tried all the retaurants and found a gem at Altos de Chavon called Onno's. The setting was so delightful, great food, friendly servers, and met the owner, Nathan. An American guy from Culinary School who was genuinely nice and runs a... more

One of the worst vacations I have ever been on. We stayed at the main building which is comprised of two story apartments. The entire main area has not been kept up for quite some time. The rooms are very, very dated and the bathrooms are really sketchy. The hot water was not working properly nor was the shower itself... more

I agree this is an over rated (but not bad) property. It needs some help but it is nothing you can't live with. If you are not a golfer you can do better in Punta Cana. CdC has three golf courses with Dye Fore and Teeth of the Dog the two best. You are required to have a caddie on... more

The best thing that could happen to this place is a wrecker's ball. This was my second visit to Casa de Campo. About four years ago, we were promised that renovations were in progress, but little has been done. Check-in is still painful and slow, communication from the desk clerk is non-existent, so you're on your own to find your... more

Stayed in a villa which was actually a 3,000 sq. ft. 4/4 house about a mile or two from the main hotel. It was a little dated but all in all nice except that no a/c in the main part of the house (bedrooms had a/c). Don't go in the summer! There was a maid and butler for 4 hrs... more

Casa de Campo is a great place to go for a golf vacation - Teeth of the Dog is rated 31st in the world, and deservedly so. It has 8 holes along the ocean, and was challenging and a lot of fun to play. The Dye Four course is also one to play, but not quite as interesting as Teeth... more

My wife and I just returned from a great vacation trip to Casa de Campo. This was our first trip to the DR. We have made many winter vacation trips to Maui (condos) , Florida (hotels and condos throughout the state) and the Atlantis (Paradise Island, Bahamas). By comparison to our past travels; Casa de Campo actually compares very favorably.... more

Six weeks here, Feb. 1 to Mar. 15th and none of the problems we had last year. The billing was perfect, we rented the same private villa as last year, and it had been upgraded, so that was a nice surprise. The "new" restaurant at the beach is now very upscale, Beach Club by Le Cirq for what used to... more
