Our family spent unforgetable 8 days in Sapphire Beach. We stayed in unit D207. The way it's advertised on cyberrentals.com is exactly right: PARADISE in full extent of that word. Where should I start from, the location, view, privacy, nature, water, fun, educational ( specaily for our 10 year old daughter who experienced soo many things that she learned about... more

You can quickly tell that this was once a fabulous, top-notch resort in St. Thomas but has unfortunately deteriorated over the past few years. First the Good: THE BEACH. For families, snorkeling, sun worshipers and sand dwellers, this is certainly one of the best, if not the best beach on St. Thomas. We visited Coki and Megan’s but Sapphire’s beach... more

My husband and I wanted to plan a trip with our two teenagers as one last big hurrah before my 19-year-old son leaves for Marine bootcamp in a month. We wanted to have a big family vacation before he left! After quite a bit of research we decided on St. Thomas, the biggest reason we didn't need passports! I browsed... more

My two sons and I stayed for one week in a room overlooking the marina...it was just what we wanted. The room was clean, the view beautiful (if I have a bit more in the budget...I will go for the beach front next time) friendly staff brought clean towels and cleaned up each day. We saw sea turtles, sting rays,... more

Our studio suite opened right onto the beach. Grab some beach chairs, stake out a slice of paradise then plan your day! Be forewarned, the beach and pool on the property can lead to extended periods of relaxation. In nearby Red Hook, there's the market to stock your fridge or a ferry to take you off-island to St. John. Try... more

First, let me say that the beach at the Sapphire is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of areas to snorkel in. My room got cleaned every day and the staff was extremely nice. Those are the positives. The website says there is an onsite laundry...there's not. I was in St Thomas for 2 weeks for work and had to search... more

The resort no longer matches the description...this is my third visit in 7 years, and will be my last. The seaside bar and restaurant are boarded up as well as the poolside snackbar and even the little gift shop. We were forced by hunger to leave the resort each day and forage for food, which means leaving the beautiful beach... more

We spent 8 nights in this unit at Saphire Beach Resort. Before we arrived, the owner (Jen) was very responsive and provided lots of great info for our trip. The unit was just as we expected - clean, nicely furnished, plenty of room, and the views were awesome. The location was outstanding, less than 1/2 mile from Redhook and the... more

My husband and I stayed at Peter Burke's condo in building D from 6/21-6/28 at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. We literally looked out at the pool and the waves. Sam picked us up at the airport and returned us the next week for $75. This also incuded a stop at the grocery. Pete's condo is very well stocked and... more

Yikes! Beware of Sapphire Beach Resort!! All units are privately owned and may not be as glamorous as pictures that were taken years ago would lead you to believe. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and booked for 7 nights at Sapphire Beach. When we pulled up, I knew it wasn't going to be good. The buildings were... more
