Well I stayed at the Copa Cabana for Spring Break. I had an amazing time! The hotel is full of springbreakers, they start playing the music at noon everyday, by this time mostly everyone is up from partying the night before. The view of the ocean is phenomenal...but all the reviews were right about people bothering you on the beach.... more

I must say that reading many of the negative responses to this hotel had me worried at first, but upon arrival until departure, which was a total of 7 days, it was nothing but good times. DON'T STAY HERE! I went down with a group of 5 others and between all of us 3 were drugged by their bartenders, a security guard broke into their room twice and stole $500 and a camera (we caught them all first hand and the managers wouldn't do anything about it when confronted with the evidence). I only stayed here one night because my friend is a reporter doing a story on spring break in Acapulco. This place is spring break central. Only stay here if you are looking for the MTV style spring break experience (beer drinking contests, wet t-shirt contests, etc.). Otherwise, stay away! more

Spring break was amazing here, the place was clean, food was OK. drinks sometimes took a while because of a wait in line, but they were decent. rooms were fine, good views, there is a nice lobby bar as well. wish the all inclusive bar would stay open longer. more

Just got home from Acapulco. Stayed @ the Copa with 6 of my friends. Great place to stay if you want to party. The food was good, but not great. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
