Stayed here for spring break back in March with some buddies.. First of all, like every other review says, the elevator problem is a disgrace. Don't even bother with it unless you're on one of the upper floors. Take the employee elevator if you decide to use one at all. Rooms were alright, didn't have any problems there. I wouldn't... more

The Romano Palace was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were 2 main things wrong with it - the state of the rooms and the service provided there. I stayed at the Romano Palace while I was on spring break this year (I'm a college student), so I wasn't exactly expecting to be staying at the... more

I went to Acapulco with my family for a week last February. I had read all reviews and forums about the hotel before travelling so I must confess I was very appalled about what I was going to meet. Most reviews were against going there. All the same I had no choice, the travel had been paid and the hotel... more

I stayed at the Romano Palace a few years back ! It was cheap, clean and the rooms were large with a great veiw of the ocean....the only problem was the food...but who cares...we ate out every night at the local resturants and ate fresh seafood everynight. I would go back ! more

I recently went to Acapulco for the New Year. I went with my friend who lives in Mexico City and trusting him and his many years of travel to Acapulco, I trusted him. Needless to say I should have asked more questions. Yes it is across the street from the beach..yes it is across the street from or very close... more

It was cheap ($70 per night) but I'd rather sleep on the beach. Noise was horrible; elevators took literally 20 minutes; room smelled of urine; no hot water during our 3 days; complaints to management generated repairmen visits to room but nothing ever was fixed; amenities listed were not available (hair dryer; lock-box; telephone, TV; a/c); water leaks, shabby furniture,... more

Alright I'll be honest, the hotel isn't glamorous by any means. The food -----, the rooms aren't the best and the elevator situation is a joke (be prepared to walk up and down 20 flights to your room), but with that aside, the hotel is still awesome. Its full of kids who are partying 24 hours a day. The hotel... more

I have stayed many places in Acapulco, but last year I decided to stay here, before going on to Mexico City. This hotel is across from some very popular open air bars. The noise started at after 10:PM when you are vibrated out of bed and the windows vibrate in their frames, after being woke after 10:00PM, this continues until... more
