After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned with my hotel choice for my vacation. I was more than pleased with my decision to stay at the Park Royal. The rooms and facilities were immaculate and beautiful. The people were very nice and accommodating. I had a massage in the spa, CHEAP and FABULOUS!!!! The food was good... more

This was my third trip to Acapulco, and our first stay out of the downtown or "hotel" zone. Check in was quick and courteous, and although we were a little early, we were in on room about 1/2 hour prior to check-in time, which we really appreciated. We had arrived from the East Coast, and were quite tired after our... more

I stayed at the Park Royal in late February 2007 with a group of twelve guys for my Bachelor party. After reading all of the negative reviews, we were all expecting a disastrous vacation. Much to our relief, the hotel and the staff were better than we could have ever expected. The rooms were clean, the grounds were well maintained,... more

I stayed here last march for a spring break trip with two of my girlfriends. We are 23 so we werent looking for the MTV spring break madness, but we wanted some excitement. We alos wanted an all inclusive so we chose this hotel. This hotel is not in town with the clubs and attractions. The front desk wasnt very... more

Went there on a honeymoon 3 years after the fact. My wife wanted something a little secluded away from the busy streets, and that is what we got. First impressions were "wow" when you walk into the lobby and look out the huge glass wall to Acapulco on the other side of the bay. The rooms were very nice beds... more

We were constantly chased by time share sellers every day and when finally agreed to listen to them were defrauded of $8000. They (Hans Siqueiros and Arturo Ga lenna) signed a contract for a "very good" deal but signing any legal papers in Mexico by US citizens is just a useless paper so they can commit a fraud and easily... more

We stayed at the hotel for one week. It is an OK vacation, but I would never come back and also, if you do not have to, do not go there. Rooms are clean, the food is OK, but if you want to do something, it is far away from everything. The beach is so small, that it is almost... more

The Park Royal is a nice hotel that is trying to become a resort---still a long ways to go but it was clean, staff was nice and food/drinks were above average. If you are a member of Royal Holiday be SURE to reconfirm you arrival for a pick-up at the airport, and reconfirm your room is what your points bought.... more

My wife and I stayed at the Park Royal June 2 - 6, part of a group of 24 adults, all members or spouses of a family-owned business. We arrived late Friday afternoon from Los Angeles via Mexico City. The lobby was bustling with mostly Mexican nationals checking in for the weekend. However, check-in was prompt and efficient. Because it... more

My wife and I just returned from a week's vacation(April 2 - April 9) at the Park Royal Acapulco. We are in our early to mid 50s. We are Royal Holiday Vacation Club members and were warmly greeted by a RH representative upon arrival. The front desk employees were friendly, accomodating and spoke english without a problem. We had to... more
