First of all, this hotel is on the beach of a BOAT MARINA. The pictures make it look great, but it isn't! The water looks clean but there's all kinds of candy wrappers/cigarette butts/garbage floating around in it and I definitely didn't want to go swimming in it!! Plus the beach guys want to charge you to "rent" the chairs... more

We needed a hotel for just one night following a a cruise on Princess. If you're looking for a luxury hotel you better try a Hilton or Sheraton, but for less than $100 per night this is a great value. We had booked an Oceanview room with a terrace. We arrived about 11 AM, well before scheduled check-in time, and... more

I must say that I had stayed in motel 6 once in a while but I find those motels way better than this so called Hotel Beach Resort. Four stars should no have any stars at all. First on the website I booked my reservation describe all the amenities the rooms come with but once you get there there are... more

Total disapointment! The hotel is a complete disaster in all areas. Our room was so unclean we didn't want to sleep there at all although we had our heavily stained sheets changed, the A/C did not function properly, the balcony windows were crashed, the elevators did not work and the pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom or... more

The room with no ocean view is really affordable but the view of the ocean is worth every penny! We got lucky to stay at the penthouse by chance, the owner's former apartment and althogh it was not renovated yet, the price and mostly the view were incredible!!! The staff is very nice! I loved every minute of our stay... more

I can't imagine better accommodations in Acapulco for the money than we got when we were relocated to room 407. The staff were unbelievably accommodating and there were plenty of people who spoke excellent English to help us. We lost a wallet (no fault of theirs) and then had to leave early because of a death in the family, and... more

I really do like the Acamar. I've been to Acapulco 37 times and stayed in lots of different hotels throughout the city but once I found the Acamar, I never wanted to stay anywhere else. It's away on the West side of the city, far from the noise of the strip and on the best beach in the city. The... more

We just returned from a week at the Acamar Beach Hotel in Caleta. We chose this location because we didn't want to stay on the Bay strip with the towering hotels, noisy bars and clubs, which is more reminiscent of Miami Beach. Caleta is gorgeous and the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and spoke enough fractured... more

We just returned from a vacation in Acapulco. We loved Acapulco, the people, the buses, and the weather. However the Acamar was a huge disappointment and anyone who would rate it as a 31/2 star hotel has never stayed there. It was shabby at best and actually in our opinion it was a dump. I almost cried when the tour... more
