Very nice resort,nice staff and location-just beachfront.Walking distance to delfinio.Playa Linda with spectacular natural cocodile habitat also iguana and hundreads of birds and from marina ride to Ixtapa Island(35 peso for one person,there and back).On the Ixtapa Island you can find few nice bars(beer 1,5$,seafood 10-50$),you can swim,dive ect. We stayed at this place for two nights before getting into our timeshare resort. This is not a resort! It is a run down, old motel! We just came home yesterday from 2 weeks at the Fontan! WOW! What a total dissapointment this so called Resort is! Spent the first week of March. Everything was clean, excepting a few little ants in the room (probably from the fresh flowers they scatter beautifully about). We stayed at this hotel Jan 24 to Feb 7th 2008. The hotel is an older highrise, but clean so no complaints there. We loved the area. Ixtapa and Zihua have a lot of great restaurants shopping and coffee. I felt very safe there and will probably go back next year.
