I have stayed at Casa Delfin many times, by my self, with friends and with my family. Every time it is hard to leave. The staff is extremely courteous, especially with my small children. The breakfast may be the best deal on the beach. Glen is always accommodating, and we usually get to surf together a few times. We think... more
My wife, my daughter and I, live in Morelia which is a busy city three hours north from the beach. We really needed a break, and found The Delfin on the internet. We'd tried out several places on Troncones but never found one we really felt at home, but as soon as we settled in in the Delfin we knew... more
Just returned from probably my eighth stay at Glen's place in Troncones. As always a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Great staff, comfortable rooms, and a unique and casual feel between the serve yourself beers and sodas and the afternoon hammock sessions on the beach. Bring a sizeable group and have Lulu cook dinner for you- it's the easiest and... more

The room was decorated nice with surfboards hanging in the rafters, local art, very quality built in wooden dressers, and lots of books! The weather was hot and humid but a nice breeze would blow through this open air suite. There was a small kitchen in the... more
Our second trip to Casa Delfin Sonriente in as many years; and we are already planning our return in 2009. The owner,Glen Novey, and his staff went out of their way to make sure our trip was perfect in every way. The breakfasts prepared by the crew were hearty and delicious Cleanliness and comfort are the hallmarks of the rooms... more
This time was my second stay at Casa Delfin Sonriente and both times were exquisite! The owner Glen Novey was lots of fun, treated us like family, and made us feel like we were royalty. The place is right on the beach with it's own pool and nice grounds for watching the ocean, playing horseshoes, or mixing up some margaritas... more
I stayed at Casa Delfin four times in a ten month time span .......and that was on an international volunteer's meager income! That should say something about the quality of the experience that kept me coming back for more :-) The rooms were clean, attractive, relaxing; the staff - very friendly and helpful; the view and surroundings - incredible!!!; nightly... more
Our family of four stayed at the Casa Delfin Sonriente in July and had a great time. The staff were friendly and pleasant, met us on arrival and served breakfast every morning. We also took advantage of the nearby restaurants in town. We stayed in the upstairs Delfin and Papaya Tree Suites which had nice ocean views. My wife and... more
