My wife, myself and two friends stayed for two weeks at the Hotel between Apr. 26 and May 10/2008 and mostly enjoyed every minute of the location, tours, dining, drinking, golfing etc. We had fun! We left from Vancouver with Air Canada and everything was perfect. We arrived in Ixtapa on time and the bus ride to Tesoro Resort was very quick, nice cold Coronas fit well. The hotel is a decent 3 star hotel. Interesting cause as well it has privatly owned suites, condo complex. My wife and I and our three teenagers spent the week of Feb 2 -9 at Tesoro. We have absolutely no complaints, our entire stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean, the meals were great, the staff were friendly, what more could one ask for? I have read comments from other visitors that had issues. The drinks were too small?... more
