July 5th, 2008 My family just returned from a week stay at Aquamarina Beach. I would like to inform everyone that the way we were treated was terrible. We were a group of 20 (5 rooms) the hotel staff was so rude. I understand yes we are in Mexico but they showed no consideration to the language barrier. It didn't... more

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to another hotel where I was doing some work. Consequently, my expectations were low. Nevertheless, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The hotel staff were rude, slow, ill-informed and generally useless. Although the rooms were clean, they were very spartan. The food is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel... more

We paid £750 each for 2 weeks all inclusive which wasnt bad, a winter sun deal - the weather was excellent for the full 2 weeks. 80+ degrees everyday. Rooms were nice but basic, there is a door leading to nextdoor in the room which is rather thin, you can hear everything nextdoor!!! Maids were good but a pain in... more

Like a fool, we went through a time share presentation in Seattle and were given a "free" hotel stay in Cancun, at the Aquamarina Hotel. When we got there, fairly late at night and very tired, we were immediately told that we had one hour and would then need to meet our "agent", Monica. Monica is nothing short of a... more

We just got back from the Aquamarina Beach Hotel on the 20th may after staying there for 2weeks with my wife and 11 year old son. At first sights the hotel is lovely. But never judge a book by its cover!!! The food was the same everyday (chicken, beef and fish) was bland and salty. There was always a selection... more

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but it was beautiful. The room was fantastic, very nice size and very romantic. The food was good for the cost and the entertainment each night and afternoon was a lot of fun. The bartenders are very nice and it was a great vacation. We really enjoyed ourselves. It... more

My husband and I had booked the Aquamarina for 8 days to celebrate our 30th wedding Anniversary. Well, needless to say the celebration was not to happy. We had ants crawling all over the place, we were supposed to have a King size bed we had 2 double. We requested no smoking, we received smoking. The brochure states that it... more

This is the first time our family has been out of the country and the experience was horrible. When we checked into the hotel we were told that we had to go to 90 minute presentation an they would refund out deposit. We told them we didn't care and were still forced to do this. This was booked through Coral... more
