The view was awesome and our room was only several steps away from the beautiful white sandy beach. This hotel has an extremely friendly staff and always willing to please. The hotel doesn't provide tranportation from the airport so make sure to arrange it seperately. it's cheap enough to. It's a bit runned down but they're slowly renovating it. It's... more

Great hotel that is situated so that no one would ever know it's there and yet it is right around the corner from the mall. They were waiting at the door when we arrived. The staff was both friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to get away from all the all-inclusive hoopla and bad food, this... more

Before going, I'd read loads of reviews of this and other hotels, booked it and what a superb result! The room was the size of my house, big bed, nice terrace, food excellent, service was quiet, smiling, helpful, not pushy. Sure, at the front, the exterior is undergoing, and needs renovation, and some of the paintwork has been done with... more

If you are thinking of staying here, please stop! This is a dump...dirty, empty and unforgettable. My family and I could not stay after one night (even though prepaid) and went to La Meridian for a nice vacation. Trust me on this! more

My friend and I stayed at Casa Turquesa from March 4th to March 8th. Casa Turquesa is a very small 3 story hotel with less than 50 rooms. Upon arriving at the hotel, the one section outside was being completely renovated and the exterior walking toward the main entrance really did not look very appealing. I started to get worried,... more

Upon arriving at the Casa Turquesa, it is obvious this was once a grand hotel but is now run down. It is true that the service is amazing. We are in our mid 30's and were there with 3 other couples. I felt that we had rented the place ourselves! It was something I doubt I will experience again. The... more

We were in the hotel from 26 - 29 January 2005. We have been to Cancun 5 times and stayed at eight different hotels (most of them very nice places - Royal Sands, Westin Regina, Continental Plaza, etc.). Nothing has surpassed the experience at the Casa Turquesa. It is very quiet and sometimes you wonder if you don't have the... more

I and my two sisters just returned from a 5 day to the Casa Turquesa in Cancun Mexico. Let me start by saying that I was quite hestitant about Cancun to begin with, because I thought it was a tourist destination that attracted just spring breakers and party-party-party, I was dead wrong. When we first pulled up in front of... more

The advertisements and photos of Casa Turquesa convinced my husband and I that this was the right place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Indeed, it was quiet! We had most of the hotel to ourselves. However, we were surprized to find out when we arrived in Cancun, that there was no hotel transportation to and from the airport, as... more

I stayed at Casa Turquesa in mid May, 2004 for 5 days. Although my first impression of the hotel was not that great due to the renovation going on at the shopping center next door, the hotel itself was totally perfect. It was miraculous that one can enjoy such a total tranquillity in the middle of the huge 'resort' Cancun.... more
