It is hard to fully explain our experience at Omni Hotel. There were things we liked a lot but there were also things we did not like at all. We had an ocean view hotel room (booked through Costco) with an "All Inclusive" package. Room is big enough and looks well (however I would give it more like 3.5 starts... more

We recently returned from a 12-day spring break trip with our kids (ages 17, 16, 14 & 10 years old). This was the ninth time that we have stayed at the Omni Cancun with our kids….all six of us love it there! We spent the majority of our days just kicking back at the beach/pools. We all partook in some... more

We stayed three nights at the Omni after having spent 4 nights at a smaller hotel. This was our second stay at the Omni (the first was in 2005), and although things were not perfect, it was still very enjoyable. Our reservation was not all inclusive, but we did upgrade at check in for $90 pp. I would recommend taking... more

We booked last second and picked the Omni for one main reason; it was the cheapest on Costco travel. We did not go all inclusive but Costco got us an ocean side room, a free night and $150 credit towards food and beverage. I had to change rooms to get a king bed, which they accomodated. Be clear, this is... more

The Omni was a very nice resort. It was further down on the strip but with bus fares only being 6 pesos= .60 cents it was not an issue at all for me. The staff was very nice. The room was exactly as promised. The food was okay nothing spectacular but good. They do have one I believe its the... more

I would have a hard time recommending this place to anyone who actually has a sense of adventure or wishes to actually experience the culture of a foreign country that they are visiting. The Omni has both its positives and negatives. First, you'll never experience real Mexico in this or any other Hotel Zone Hotel in Cancun. The hotel, like... more

Our Omni stay was great. Check in was easy, our room wasn't ready, but we were early. My sister and brother in law were there so we put our stuff in their room. There are very nice courtesy bathrooms with showers, fresh towels, soaps and shampoos just for this reason. We were all-inclusive so we were given our wristband the moment... more

Just returned from six days in Cancun. Wonderful vacation. I booked the Omni Cancun after doing much research. Thank you to all on this site for helping me make my desicion. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately upgraded from a deluxe room to a villa. This is a three story, three bedroom attached house. Ours was on the... more

Well, after reading all the horrid reviews here, I was a realist. My mother has owned a timeshare at The Omni Cancun for a number of years, and always loved it, so off the wife and I went. This place is about service, period. All the staff did their best to accommodate any request. It's not the biggest, nor the... more

Four women, all family members, ranging in age from 16 to 60 + spent a wonderful week at the Omni to celebrate the 16 year old's birthday. We used Conquest vacations and flew out of Toronto direct on Sky Service - uneventful. There were three Americans in the group and we chose to fly from Canada because there are no... more
