I stayed 8 days at El Tukan Condotel and I spend a good time. The room was always clean and the food was excellent! It's a modest hotel but it was very comfortable and quiet . Where do I start?? The hotel and grunds were very nice, the rooms were always clean and the grounds, and pool were kept clean. As far as the all inclusive part -- now that was something else!! My freind and I spent four nights at the El Tukan in April 08 and enjoyed our stay. The biggest asset here is the location. The hotel is right on fifth Ave, which means you can easily walk to numerous restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel itself is older and basic but still charming. It is a 2 or 3... more

We just returned after spending 2 weeks at the El Tukan. No complaints at all. The best this hotel has to offer is the location. It is right on 5th, and close to the beach club, approximately a 5 minute walk to the beach club. I have red other reviewers stating that there are not enough palapas and loungers, and... more

there are items missed. I am writing a detailed review because after I booked this hotel in september/07 I could not find reviews and that worried me. One in Oct/07 and before that was Oct/06. My wife and I are in our early forties.We booked this trip with Go Travel in Montreal.We normally go south 2-3 times a year and have stayed at 5*resorts as well as 2*resorts.We always book all inclusive as we did here and I would rate the El Tukan a 3*.
