Friend has time share, so we tagged along for free, or so we thought. Great condo, but very limited kitchen. Tiny fridge (food would not fit) and tiny 2 burner (only use one at a time). Restaurants were so delicious, but again the buffet is $25. Fish tacos at the pool side restaurant were the best in the world. $5... more

We stayed here June 14-21,2008. We've actually been to Puerto Vallarta several times and find it very relaxing. We've stayed in places near town, in the Marina and in Nuevo Vallarta. If you are looking to do alot in town I would stay at the Sheraton or somewhere close to that. We've stayed in the Marina area which requires a... more

The Mayan Palace at Neuvo Vallarta is a well-kept property situated in a beautiful area on the Pacific coast. We (5 adults) stayed for 7 days in a 2 bedroom unit with living room/kitchenette and had a great time. The workers, from the bellmen to wait staff to housekeeping staff, were pleasant and helpful without exception. We had a great... more

We traveled to The Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta as assigned by RCI on a special business week during the month of June 2008. I would like to mention the Pros and Cons of my visit there. When we arrived at the Resort, after checking in which took 15 minutes, we were given a bright red bracelet which we had... more

We were at the Mayan Palace Nueva Vallarta from June 6-17, 2008. There were 4 of us - My wife and I along with our 11 year old and 8 year old daughter. We had read and gone through all the reviews on Trip Advisor and that helped us with our expectations. We had very similar experiences that others have... more

The maid took something that belonged to me from my room and it took almost 2 hours at the front desk to get it back. Our rooms keys stopped working so there was more time at the fron desk. They claimed to have no mgr on duty and were not helpful at all. We asked for a cab or golf... more

Just returned for the Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta. We stayed there for a week. I would rate it a 4 out of 10. Heres why: *$20.00 cab ride into town -$40.00 round trip *Rooms are 20 years old *time share presentation took 4 hours and in the end they did not want to give us our $100. *Frozen drinks by... more

This is a late review as we stayed here back in Jan. 2007, but I wanted to say that it was wonderful! My brother-in-law and his wife's family own timeshares and invited us to vacation with them. The pools are wonderful, but a little far away from the blue building. But walking is good for you! We stayed in the... more

We stayed at the Mayan Palace, Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico for 2 weeks. The check-in went very smoothly and the bell hops are great. They take care of you and getting taxi's. Only got two calls to go to a presentation. Our trip was through RCI so we had red bracelets indicating we were not owners. The grounds are lovely but... more

Our stay 5/10/08-5/16/08. My husband, his sister, a friend and I had the suite (two bedrooms/2 bathrooms). We were in the blue building on the ocean side - 2nd floor. We couldn't see the ocean through the Palms - but at least it was a better view than the parking lot! It is a tad bit further to the pool... more
