I have stayed at various Westin locations across Canada, and Westin Bayshore is by far my favorite because of its gorgeous views and close proximity to great restaurants. The bell boy and front desk people are all friendly, and I got a great tip as to where to go for Sushi in Vancouver! (Miko Sushi, one of the best sushi... more

We needed two rooms for our Pre-Alaskan cruise accommodations. I managed to get the reservations through Priceline at a jaw-dropping low price. I called the hotel a month prior to check-in to ask a simple question about the rooms and the person who answered treated me like we had cooties. Oh...we booked through PRICELINE. Well, I should just call Priceline... more

Had to stay at the Westin because my regular, the Renaissance hotel was sold out. The staff seem friendly and the property very open. When I checked-in, the fellow at the front desk said he received a call from the Renaissance saying I was a VIP guest. The desk agent upgraded me to a suite looking over coal harbor &... more

We have stayed at this Westin a couple of times in the past two years, and it is truly a nice experience. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant. The location is excellent. The hotel is going through some remodeling and updating. Our room was not yet renovated but very, very nice with a lovely view of the harbour... more

Over the past two years I have stayed at the Westin Bayshore about a dozen times. The latest were in February and March 2008. My most recent visits were up to expectations. From the doorman, to the front desk, the hotel cleaning personal, all do their jobs with a goal to make you happy. If you are not, let them... more

I was in Vancouver twice this fall and each time stayed in a different hotel. While both were very nice, the Westin Bayshore was superior. it's location is fantastic for views - watching sea planes take off from the bay and the moon rising over North Vancouver. I usually prefer smaller hotels, but had to stay here for a conference.... more

My fiancee and I enjoyed this hotel immensely. The concierge was superb, and went out of his way to help us in every way possible. The living quarters were beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable and clean feeling. It is within 10 minutes walking distance from the main street in town, Robson. more

The hotel makes you relax as soon as you get there with an airy soft wood paneled lobby, and you're bound to get a room with a great view of Vancouver harbour or Stanley Park. I felt really pampered when I was there. It's much better than staying in a usual downtown business hotel. As soon as you walk out... more

When it comes to price, location and service, I find the Westin Bayshore to be unbeatable. Other hotels in Vancouver may be more opulent. They may be more trendy or funky. They might be right on a corner of Burrard and Robson. But my opinion is the Bayshore has the best combination of everything I am looking for. First is... more
