The housekeeping staff put clean sheets on our beds every day, and kept our room spotless.May we recommend Inlets for breakfast which you can find in Robson Street. The Reception staff and porters were so kind and helpful nothing was ever... more
My partner & I stayed here the night we arrived (exhausted) from Australia. From the doormen to reception to breakfast staff, everyone was professional, prompt, friendly & welcoming. We travelled through the Rockies then returned for a further 3 nights. I had requested on check-out whether we could have a room on a higher floor (the first night was on... more
Nice stay for a weekend meeting. Had a large deluxe room on the 19th floor with view of North Van, mountains and harbour. King size bed very comfy, LCD TV, etc. Heard the sea planes but that adds to the waterfront nuance. Staff pleasant and very helpful. Skip buffet breakfast. Underground mall includes Tim's, and Starbucks right across the street... more
We spent two nights here before flying out of Canada. We upgraded to The Fairmont Gold on arrival which meant we had use of a private lounge, with added facilities such as cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast. It was too wet to use the terrace but the extra space of the lounge made our stay... more
We stayed at the Fairmont while in town for a convention across the street at the convention center. We had a deluxe Harbor view room on the 18th floor. The room was a little bit small but the view was wonderful. You can hear the sea planes taking off and landing during the day and also the construction but it's... more
This hotel is direcly across the street from the cruise ship terminal/convention center. Our convention rate was $227 per night. The restaurant food was excellent! The dungeness crab soup was $14 a bowl and worth every spoonful. Housekeeping came everyday by 9:30am. Free local papers were delivered daily. Free coffee in the lobby at 6am is awful! Free bottled water... more
The Negatives: We stayed here on April 4th for 1 night for a Company function. The Company had 55 people for a reception and sit down dinner of which probably 3/4 spent the night. Our company was quoted $299 CAD plus taxes for rooms. I went through Kayak.com and got a room for $168 CAD including taxes, Prepaid. When we... more
My husband and I cruised from Los Angeles to Vancouver for our anniversary and stayed at the Fairmont. We stayed on the 12th floor and it was wonderful (see pics). The room was spotless, service was excellent and the view will take your breath away. Two of the windows in the room opened and we were greeted by the herb... more
Stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront for three nights for a business conference. I was surprised and disappointed given the Fairmont's excellent reputation. The room was very tired and not exactly clean. The sink in the bathroom was cracked, the furniture was worn, and the carpet was stained. The tv was tiny and there was no desk. The bedroom and bathroom... more
