This is the second time I've stayed there. The staff is friendly, albeit not too detail-oriented. My first time was before the rennovation. The lobby and restaurant are much better now. Great location, great value. more

An amazing honeymoonThis is the second time I've stayed there. The staff is friendly, albeit not too detail-oriented. My first time was before the rennovation. The lobby and restaurant are much better now. Great location, great value. more
This was our second trip to Vancouver, and we chose the Century Plaza for the price and also after reading some Trip Advisor reviews. We found it very good value for money for a downtown hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious with two double beds, a sofa, coffee table, and fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is well located... more
We travel to Vancouver frequently and have stayed in many downtown properties and just returned from a stay at Century Plaza. I'd consider this a 3+ star hotel. Great lobby and lobby bar, good womens steam/locker room, great restaurant, friendly staff, convenient parking, best location. After checking all rates i found the suites here the largest for the price. We... more
This is by far one of the worst hotel experiences we have had traveling on business throughout Canada. The hotel staff tried to work with us to fix the issues we encountered, but try as they might the overall condition of this hotel prevented their best efforts in being enough. The first room had two single beds, whose mattresses had... more
The hotel was really well located - around the corner from Robson Street and 5 minutes from the Art Gallery. We were in a suite - very comfortable and spacious. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. This was our last stay in our trip through Canada and we would have loved to stay a few more days! more
Sept 2007 Stayed at the Century Plaza on Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver following a trip through the Rockies. Good hotel with appartment styled rooms centrally located. Excellent restaurant but rather cold swimming pool in the spa centre. Vancouver is a great city for a break - with sea location and in the shadow of mountains. Good shopping and restaurants... more
Date 7/24/07 TripAdvisor member from Savannah, GA. Our check-in and out were handled efficiently and correctly. The room was as promised, a king study. There was a sofa, a wet bar area, with a small refrigerator. The bathroom was appointed nicely. The hotel was convenient to the downtown area, a short cab ride to the cruise ship departures. We had... more
The lobby was gorgeous, which is why the state of our standard room was so alarming. Horribly filthy carpet, no air-conditioning (we were offered a fan) and the bed felt like it had rocks in it. The hotel should have used some of the money they spent on the beautiful lobby on the guestrooms. I am perplexed by 4 &... more
The Century Plaza is within walking distance to Gastown if you don't mind a little stroll. In a neat area of Vancouver. Easy to get to. The hotel is clean, but the lobby area is much more nicely decorated than the rooms themselves I think. When you see the hotel and walk into the lobby, it is modern, fresh and... more
After reading reviews about the construction, I was hesitant to go through with my booking. I looked at their website and found out which floors were finished with the remodeling (they are going from the top down). When I went back to the website I was booking through, I discovered they were specifically mentioning which floors went with each rate... more
