We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the English Bay Inn. The Inn both inside and out is so charming and we felt at home immediately. Some of the highlights of our stay here include the interior of the Inn, the host Greg who made us feel so welcome, the fabulous location, the cleanliness of the Inn, the super breakfast each... more

Ten years ago my mom and I stayed at the EBI and loved it so much that my husband and I had our wedding there last week. My entire wedding party and family stayed at the inn and enjoyed the wonderful food, rooms and location. The hospitality was top notch and the ambiance is that of your own home away... more

We found the English Bay Inn to be a quiet, well maintained, friendly place to stay. The hosts were welcoming and generous, breakfast was a lovely start to the day, the recommendations of local places to eat were always reliable and our stay here enhanced our visit to Vancouver. more

After 10 days skiing in Whistler, we really needed a calm and quiet place to relax in Vancouver. We found the English Bay Inn on the Internet and what a great choice. Everything was great; the location of the Inn, the room and the hospitality of the two hosts Greg and Boban. The Inn is very close to Denman Street,... more

This B&B is a pretty little house and especially pleasing to the eye next to the not-so-pretty high rise buildings that make up the skyline of Vancouver. The locations is excellent, walking distance the the water and wonderful restaurants as well as the park and aquarium. The highlight of the B&B itself is the dining room. While there is no... more

The building is very cute on the outside. Inside I thought the furnishings were generally very tacky. For the high cost of the room, I expected genuine antiques. Everything was fake. Whoever redid the bathrooms cut some corners. The ledge was very tacky. Boban, the owner, was nice and friendly. The food was good, but there was no choice. What... more

We do not understand nor do we agree with the comments regarding the food / breakfast, and as for the comments on the furnishings, that’s a matter of individual taste. It seems to us that if there was a ‘perceived’ problem by a guest, it should have been addressed at the time of their stay; We did not received a...

I stayed at the English Bay Inn early in November with my sister and five cousins. The B&B is very well situated both close to Robson St. and Stanley Park. Boban, the owner, Greg and Helen are wonderful, warm and pleasant hosts who always took the time to give us information about the area, to give directions, or just to... more

We (three couples from Southern US) spent three nights at the English Bay Inn. We were immediately pleased with the elegant historical home. Greg cheerfully greeted us and made us feel right at home. His recommendations for Vancouver sights, etc. were top notch. The breakfasts prepared by Greg were delicious. He chatted with us each morning to make sure we... more

The English Bay Inn was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! The suite we stayed in was so comfortable. The sheets on the bed were so incredibly soft I thought we were sleeping on air. I'll need to get some like that for my bed at home. The complementary port and sherry and chocolates made the whole experience complete... more

We toured the west of Canada staying in 6 B&B's all of which were superb. So by the time we arrived in Vancouver at the end of our road trip we were hopeful, but in a big city you never know what sort of accommodation you'll end up getting. Well the English Bay Inn surpassed all expectations. Conveniently located a... more
