The one reason you would not pick this Marriott is if you are looking for a breathtaking view. Leicester and a business park are not on my top 10! However, we choose to have a night away from the family and to relax and it did all of that. The receptionist, Kylie, made us feel very welcome and was professional.... more

The British midlands seem to have very few proper business hotels. Nottinghamshire, for instance, has one 4 star called the Dakota hotel that is well appointed and has a nice restaurant, but somehow lacks room service and a minifridge. The Nottingham Belfry had all of the proper amenaties on paper, but service was horrible. I was fery pleased, therefore, upon... more

Highly recommend this hotel - really modern, funky and clean - possibly the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Great breakfasts too. more

My review is written from the perspective of a very seasoned international business traveler. I have stayed in countless hotels in countless countries throughout the world. I frequently choose top class well known business hotels. The service in the Marriott Leicester is first rate. All staff are very courteous, professional, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is comfortable with a very... more

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel as it is very handy for motorsport events at both Silverstone and Donington. This time we were upgraded to an executive room (due to a poor stay I had at the Marriott in Manchester) and had access to the executive lounge all weekend. There was also... more

Have stayed here several times with family for weekend break. Ideal for shopping at Fosse Park - just a 10 min walk across the road. Large book shop within 5 mins walk with coffee shop - could spend hours in there! National Space Centre also nearby which is good for older kids. Leisure facilities good and clean. Kids welcome. Staff... more

Rooms generously sized and very comfortable only hitch was no tv internet working otherwise great. What was superb was no corridor or other noise whatsoever. We stayed one night here after attending a charity dinner. I had been to ther Marriott before and think of it as a modern steel and glass cube located near Fosse Park, the M1 and M69 and designed for business people. I am correct in all of these but now I have stayed there I can add to my ideas.... more

On arrival on a wet winters night we found the location very close to the major motorway junctions on a rather modern, bland and quiet business park. We had eaten so went to the room via the massive lobby/lounge which was pristine and welcoming. The room had a very comfortable king size bed, high quality toiletries and everything you would... more
