Having scoured the reviews of available London hotels for a birthday weekend treat, the Cavendish seemed like a pretty safe bet. I was not disapointed. Location was fantastic and we were able to walk everywhere. We were offered a room upgrade for an extra £40 on arrival - glad we decided to do this as the new room was not... more

We have enjoyed two weekend breaks at the Cavendish in January 2008 when we went to the Tutankhamun and Terracotta Army exhibitions and May 2008 when we went to see Bruce Springsteen at the Emirates Stadium. Staying at this super hotel made sure both our weekends were really enjoyable. The hotel staff are efficient and friendly. If you ask for... more

We spent 2 nights at The Cavendish in a Superior Queen room. The room was a decent size for London and the bathroom was very spacious with White Company toiletries. The walls were a little thin, but it wasn't too disturbing. The view from our room which was on the 14th floor was amazing - you could see the Gherkin,... more

Stayed here for one evening at a weekend. Rooms are nice, modern, well equipped with quality bed linen/towels etc. They are a little on the small side - we had a superior room but it was still pretty small. Superior rooms at the Grosvenor (marriot) on Park Lane are much nicer but are a bit more pricey. Apart from that,... more

Firstly, this hotel is in an excellent location and worth considering for that reason alone. It is directly behind Fortnum & Mason and less that 5 minutes walk to Piccadilly Circus! However, we were staying for a special occasion and for this, I don't think I would recommend it to others. We paid for a junior suite for the weekend... more

Very freindly and easy going staff. Location was brilliant, as were the facilities and comfort. Rooms were very clean, had a 'new' feel about them and offered plenty of space. more

I stayed here for three nights over the Queen's Birthday in a junior suite. The room was on the penthouse floor, although I can't remember what the name of the room was. It was large with a chaise longue and writing desk and faced out over the park. Pros: double-sinked bathrooms (the secret to harmony at any hotel), a big,... more

Stayed with my husband for 5 nights. The Cavendish has the listed address, but also an entrance on Jermyn Street, across from Fortnum and Mason, and in the midst of all the wonderful Jermyn Street boutiques. It is about midway between the Picadelly Circus and Green Park Underground stops, a few minutes either way. This is really a very nice... more

I have just returned from a two-night weekend stay which I booked as a surprise 30th birthday gift for my partner, along with tickets to see We Will Rock You. First and foremost, the location is FANTASTIC! It is situated on Jermyn St, directly opposite Fortnum and Mason and parallel to Picadilly. It is within easy walking distance of atrractions... more

I have just come back from staying at The Cavendish for one night which we won through work! The hotel is situated just off Regent Street in a very nice area. The reception is small but decorated very well with lots of purple and light(!!). The reception staff were efficient, polite and helpful (always a bit of a surprise in... more
