Just arrived back from a one-night stay at Wentworth House, found it completely fine, despite having read the criticisms on the website. It wasn't perfect, but it definitely wasn't terrible, the room was clean and a decent size, as was the bathroom. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Avoid this place. The swimming pool does not function. The website is nice, but the hotel is not. And it is a long, long walk from town. You end up taking a taxi. And the price is much too high compared to what you get. So find somewhere else. more

Read the small print (seriously devious), couldn't swing a cat in the room and very shoddy, shower hose split. Pool out of order and watch out for hidden charges and other unauthorised charges. more
