We stayed at the Tasburgh House Hotel for my birthday, and had a really lovely time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make everything special - arranging for flowers and champagne for when we arrived, and taxis into town to get there in time for our evening meal. They even called up... more

Well, I loved it! Staff is just great. Every one, owner, receptionist, maids, girls - had a smile on their faces, were very helpful and just soooo nice. Beds are great, both linen and comfort. Everytime I got in it, I did not want to leave. It might be a little bit out of town if you plan to come... more

We stayed for 3 Nights in November 2008. Sue and the staff made us so welcome. The rooms were clean and delightful and the food was first class. We couldn't fault Tasburgh house. The same couldn't be said for the weather. S&J more

Room was lovely, food was great, hotel has superb views, the staff are helpful and Sue is an excellent host. She is thoughtful and will go out of her way to make your stay special. There was a family staying while we were there and it was the young son's birthday. They baked a cake especially, cleared the breakfast room... more

We wanted to spend a long weekend in Bath for a couple of reasons: 1. both my husband and I had been to Bath before but over 20 years ago and not together. 2. We were belatedly celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. After a lot of research on the internet we decided on Tasburgh House. We were greeted by Toni... more

My husband and I were looking for a good hotel in Bath for our first wedding anniversary. I noticed The Tasburgh House Hotel on Trip advisor and thought we would give it a try as it had such good reviews. We were not disapointed! We booked through the website and were quickly contacted by the owner who gave us information... more

Situated just above a canal, this intimate hotel puts you close to Bath but with the feeling of being in the countryside. You walk down to the towpath lining the canal with picturesque barges, and in one direction lies Bath and in the other direction a perfect country pub with great food and ambience (both about a mile or so... more

Stuck, as usual, for a birthday idea for Doreen my wife, I remembered her comments following watching The Hotel Inspector and decided to book 2 nights there for both of us.What a good decision that was.I really cannot add to the previous TripAdvisor reviews although the following tips may be useful. Do arrive VIA the TOLL BRIDGE at Bathampton (50p). We... more

Our family group stayed at the Tasburgh for two nights in July 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed it. This hotel is well thought out, beautifully decorated and completely comfortable. Our room, the Piercy Shelley Suite, easily housed the four of us with plenty of room to spread out. The decor was in excellent taste and beautiful. The grounds were expansive and... more

I chose the Tasburgh for a recent trip to Bath with 11 friends to celebrate my hen do, and it was the most perfect choice. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Sue and Toni, right from the initial booking, through to general queries before we arrived, and finally during our 2 night stay. Quite simply we were made to feel... more
