Booked two rooms at £29 per room per night which was a good price to stay in Bath. Surprised as this is actually a hotel that they have acquired so was a little more up market than the standard Travelodge. I'm sure though they will have it working as a Travelodge soon! Check in was ok. Rooms were lovely and... more

I stayed at this hotel for three days and it was a real eye opener. Firstly the hotel was in the process of being converted into a Travelodge. Although work was going on there was no noise apart from when they were doing something with the fire alarms one afternoon. I experienced two problems the first was that they did... more

This hotel has been bought by Travelodge. It is no longer a Menzies establishment. I stayed in this hotel about two years ago when it was owned by Menzies and had a very pleasant stay. I expected the same when I returned this year only to discover that Travelodge does not upkeep the hotel as it should nor does it... more

We’re writing this view after the fact and it’s going to be rather short we feel simply because we can’t remember anything bad at all about our stay here. The hotel was just in the transitional period for changing across to the Travelodge family, and yes some of the old décor did look a little tired, but if we’ve ever... more

This was a trip for my husbands birthday as we'd wanted to stay in Bath for a while. The location in great, free parking, very peaceful and a short stroll to the centre, either along the canal or around it. (Bath has very friendly wino's, a better class though, they drank bottles of Lambrusco rather than Special Brew) The hotel... more

Just got back from a two night stay at this Travelodge and glad to be back home! Good points: Great location, 5-10 minute walk to town centre Free car parking with good size car park Cost - we paid £39 a night through the travelodge website Very helpful and polite staff And now for the bad points: Room was sweltering... more

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel (now a Travelodge) on a weekend in July. We booked late and were having difficulty finding a room. Having read the reviews I was very leery, but have to say that I was pleasantly suprised. The room we were given was in a little outbuilding by the "waterside". The waterside is a... more

Nice hotel close to center of town. We ( 2 adults and an infant) stayed here for 1 night. The room was small according to USA standards, but decent for England. It had a nice balcony overlooking a pond. Breakfast was excellent - huge selection of cold and hot items. more

I stayed in this hotel for two nights - somewhat against my better judgement, but virtually unable to find another hotel in the area for the dates I required. The room I was allocated was tiny, overlooking the carpark, on the groundfloor, which meant it was not possible to open the window - could be a problem in warmer weather.... more

I was really worried that this place was going to be terrible after reading the reviews on this site, so was mentally prepared for the worst. We had stayed in a terrible hotel in Bath two years ago which was filthy, staffed by students, had clearly not been decorated since the 1970s. It was the cheapest hotel we could find... more
