The Cranleigh was a lovely place to stay. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were great - very polite and helpful. I have never been to any hotel of b&b where there are so many little extras, By this I don't mean your usual posh toiletries or little choccy on the bed… I mean really original , quirky little things –like the do not disturb sign, the emergency kit even the little pump bags for the hair dryers are really cute.... more

Cranleigh is a positively charming small hotel in an excellent location which is close (within walking distance) to the city but removed from the traffic and noise . We had a beautiful ground floor room with a king bed and small sitting area with a great view of the city below. Spotlessly clean and the best breakfasts of our trip.... more
