Very comfortable and friendly hotel. We were made to feel really welcome and it was nice to have a secluded room accessed via the garden! Breakfast was very good and filling, no need for any lunch after that. Bit of a walk into the city centre but if you enjoy a walk it does not take long. more

Stayed at the Apsley House Hotel for 2 nights with my girlfriend during November. We stayed in the garden room and when we saw it we had a huge grin on our faces for practically the whole time we were in the room. Lovely four poster bed, think the girlfriend rolled over on it about 5 times without falling off!... more

A beautiful and well maintained hotel, with a very relaxed amosphere and everything at a high standard. The hotel has a variety of rooms, all of which are spacious, well equipped, and decorated to a high standard....quite luxurious and Molton Brown toiletries! A nice point is that some of the rooms are adjoined by a corridor, which can be closed... more

Beyond providing guests with a nicely renovated historic building, the owner and staff were remarkably helpful and friendly. The rooms were attractive and comfortable and fully appointed (irons and ironing boards can be hard to come by in Europe), including a way to heat water for tea and coffee in our rooms. Breakfast was terrific and certainly held us through... more

This is a charming place to stay. It feels more like a house-party than a business. There's even an honesty bar in the glorious Georgian drawing room. I stayed in two separate rooms having extended my stay. Both were beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. Try the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Never to be beaten. No wonder people rave about... more

Stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked more. Very high quality in every aspect. Beautiful accommodation, excellent managers who are pleased to help, but not in your face or a nuisance. Amazing food. Fantastic rooms and garden. Free parking and peaceful. more

Apsley House Hotel is a wonderful find in Bath! From the start there is a car park space per room - highly needed as car parking is VERY expensive in Bath. The 20-30 minute walk into Bath is lovely, and a map is provided of Bath as soon as you arrive. The staff are friendly and professional. We stayed in... more

Apsley House is set in its own grounds with parking available which is a bonus in Bath. The House is a credit to the owners and they have done a good job of providing the genuine old England feel, particularly appealing to overseas visitors. Set on a main road but in a more residential area and slightly further out of... more

Great hotel and friendly staff. It is a bit out of Bath city centre, but worth the drive. Breakfast was amazing with a great view. Good parking on site. Rooms are personal and cozy. Would highly recommend! more
