Very efficient pleasant check-in. Rooms warm comfortable and clean. Good shower but cold water in basin sometimes almost ran out, and toilet flush was fairly poor and weak. We were going to newcastle for a hen night and booked the caledonian for one night. upon arrival we sort of invaded someones wedding reception and they had the bride getting her photographs taken on the stairs in the reception which obviously made her feel uncomfortable as well as us! the staff were friendly and helpful and all seemed good.... more
