Stayed two nights in August when in town on business. There's lots of accommodation options in the northern suburb of Jesmond, but this hotel provides an inexpensive, quiet, comfortable choice in a good location. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and breakfasts are v. good with vegetarian options. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Jesmond metro station. more

Okay, quiet, friendly staff more

We have been there for two nights in October. It's a very pretty place,small and pleasant. The room and the bathroom were clean and confortable. In the morning breakfast was served by a kind staff. Inside this place you may breathe an atmosphere typically English! Letizia&Antonello more

Odd little place with no bar calling itself a "Hotel" in the Jesmond area, it's more of a guest house or B&B really. Cleanish but in need of a bit of TLC. Our shower room was tiny and well past it's sell by date, the shower was terrible and took ages just to get warm - it never actually got... more

I stayed here while attending a study school at the university - this place is in a very handy location, about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest Metro station, Jesmond. The decor is much what you'd expect in a B&B - but I really liked it, it was very homely! The bed sheets were crisp, clean and smelt lovely.... more
