Stayed here on 11-11-08. Good - Rooms are small but clean. Bathrooms where not bad at all. The breakfast was ok, bit greasy but ok. Bad- Grotty entrance from the street. Had a great weekend stay here. Staff were very friendly, rooms had everything you needed for a short stay and had recently been refurbished. Due to the location, I'm sure you could get a bit of noise but you don't come to the Quayside to stay in your room! Would not hesitate to stay here again and thoroughly recommend it. more

Nice people, pleasant rooms, reasonable rates and good location but, unless you are a party animal and want to join in, be prepared to be kept awake into the small hours by the pounding music from "Jimmyz", the bar in the ground floor of the hotel. more

Previous reviews bear out precisely the problem with this place. It is in the process of being refurbished apparently. If you get one of the refurbished rooms you're OK.
