I am just back from a 2 nights stay at the Premier Inn. The hotel was nice and the room was nice and modern. The only thing the room lacks is a fridge. There is not alot of storage space either. The main bar and restraunt is a bit expensive. I included buffet breakfast for 2 adults which was £15.90... more

Booked through laterooms for the same price we could have paid on arrival (£69 for a large room with two double beds). It was very stylish and comfortable, and the receptionist called us a taxi into the centre of Newcastle which arrived within 5 minutes and only cost a fiver! All in all an excellent stay - easy to get... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights for a 'City Break'. We really wanted to stay in Newcastle city centre but were put off by reviews of noisy hen parties, so decided we would stay outside the city. As soon as we checked in we were informed the hotel had just been taken over by the... more

I was a little worried staying here on a Saturday night with Newcastle being a notorious party town on a weekend...however I needn't have worried.. Booked through laterooms.com for £79.00 for Room Only and asked for a 'quiet room'. Check in was a breeze, friendly helpful staff saw to our booking-in, in the lovely reception area. Our room was on... more

Stayed two nights mid week on business. A large car park is provided and is about 15 minutes in a taxi away from the train station (about £8) I arrived at the hotel and was instantly impressed by the hotels lovely lounge, bar and reception, the restaurant looked nice too but I had to wait for that. The staff went... more

OK hotel, similar to the Scandic chain, maybe a bit better. Room had decent size, but with tiny bathroom. The hotel is placed in a trading estate which is absolutely deserted at night. There are no restaurant on the premises save for a 'bistro' and nothing else except a pub within walking distance, not even a small shop where one... more

Stayed for a week with my mum. Was a last-minute booking so didn't have much choice on which hotel to pick, but was pleasantly surprised that our choice was an excellent one! Reception staff are helpful, the room spacious, with 2 big double beds for the 2 of us. And as you've all read, the shower is fantastic! Almost like... more
