Even with a discount, we still paid over £80 a night. The first room they gave us stank of smoke and was filthy (we had booked a non-smoking room). We had a baby with us, so they did move us to a smoke-free room, but the room was still quite dirty and falling to pieces. The staff were inconsiderate and... more

We chose this hotel as a convenient place to visit Coventry Cathedral and Kenilworth castle, also because it boasted a Malaysian restaurant, and booked it through the Best Western site. Telephone contact, to confirm some details, was trying, with many misunderstandings. The hotel has a shabby, unkempt air about it, and reception is very small and cramped. Rooms seem to... more

On Monday 21st January I booked to stay at this hotel. When I arrived I was given my room. This was room 101. I went up to the room and was appauled by what i found. The rooms were very dirty, small, and not very accomodating. The carpets along the skirting board were almost black, the window did not close... more

The room was clean, but an attic with low beams. The bed was rock-hard. Nice bathroom equipment but to get in shower would need pot-holing skills. Not easy to use lavatory because of low beam. Staff were friendly Breakfast was very poor. Booked for two nights - left after one more

I stayed in this hotel as part of a 24 hour delegate rate. The room was definately not worth the £99!! Aside from the hidious decor, the small single bed, and dirty bed cover - the bathroom was a joke. It was a cupboard in the corner of the room. Stepping up into the cupboard you are met with a... more

Stayed at this hotel whilst attending a conference at Stoneleigh Park. The carpark is a bit of a nightmare to get in if you arrive anytime after 4.30pm. The enterance hall was very cluttered, to get to my room I had to go along a passage that had pallets of drinks & provisions stored in it, very difficult to get... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is a smell of sewage throughout the building. In our room the shower did not work, although the hook holding the shower head did drop off the wall and the attention seeking shower head fell on my head when I was in the bath. There was damp on the... more

King room booked online with Best Western on arrival told no king rooms in hotel only king suite which was more expensive, after showing internet confirmation of room type transferred to king suite at no cost. But suite was dusty, mirrors filthy, no loo rolls and no pillowcases on spare pillows. Breakfast was a mess, no choice of fruit juice... more
