The guesthouse is a bit old and needs some renovation. Location is not too bad, and is close enough to reach the main attraction of Stratford-upon-Avon by foot (not more than 10 minutes). Breakfast was quite good. more

We saw The applegarth online, looked nice so booked it. The Guest house is central for all of stratford. Our room was comfortable warm, with a welcome tea tray. The breakfast was served hot, with a thick slice of bacon, and tasty sausage. We were asked if we wanted any more tea or toast. Can't complain more

We booked to stay here for Friday and Saturday nights. As we could not leave work until mid/late Friday afternoon we advised the B&B we would arrive between 7.30 and 8.00 pm. this is a nice B&B only minutes from the town centre and all the attractions - although it is next to a busy road, the double glazing is very good and keeps most of the noise out. I've stayed here a couple of times and it is a very laidback, friendly place - for example, both times I've been given my room immediately despite arriving hours before official check-in time.
