I have recently returned from a weekend break at the Glebe and although overall the stay was enjoyable there were a few things lacking. I would say that to be the only two guests in the bar on a Friday evening did not bode well. Saturday was slightly better with maybe three other tables in the restaurant booked and although... more

I booked this hotel because of it's excellent location, being stuated between Warwick and Stratford. What attracted me to the property was it's leisure facilities and beauty treatments. It seemed good value for money and the perfect place for a quiet weekend break. When we arrived on the Friday night there were only a handful of cars in the car... more

On arrival in this quiet village of Barford, its just a short drive from Warwick and Stratford, but if you dont want the hustle and bustle of the centre of town this is a perfect location, and it was also only a short drive to Warwick racecourse. Its so easy to find and peaceful that you would not believe its... more

I got married at the Glebe in May 2007 and it was a great day. We had the Shakespeare Suite which is huge so there was plenty of room to get ready in it. Our families booked up a lot of the hotel and they all loved their rooms. No complaints at all. The hotel is not the most modern,... more

Stayed at The Glebe for a weekend for my partner's birthday. We had a great time. The reception staff were fantastic and welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable the health club was great too; with a lovely warm pool, like a big luxurious bath! I also had a full body massage which was a real treat. Our highlight was... more

The hygiene and treatment at the Glebe Hotel was so appalling that we were forced to find a new place to stay. Our initial problem was that our room was bug infested. My husband attempted before and after the hotel, to remove them but there were too many. When the reception was notified someone was sent up to check. They... more

For a British countryside hotel, they had unexpectedly geat customer service on overseas phone calls. However, when I arrived at the hotel with my 10 month old son and husband I was very disppointed to find out that a) there was no air conditioning (England was in the middle of a heat wave), b) there were no screens on the... more

Ihave stayed in thi shotel several times now and for people who are staying near warwick i can recommend the Glebe, the rooms are spacious and have tv with a few cable channels, the staff are friendly but foreign, during quiet times it can be difficult to get a drink as the staff are never always behind the bar, breakfasts... more

We met up for an overnight stay at The Glebe with family, including three riotous small granddaughters, for our 40th wedding anniversary. The hotel was quiet, and the children were able to have the run of the lounge, with its lovely log fire. The staff were great with the children, and our lunch, and later, evening bar meal, were very... more

My family and I were refugees from a truly horrid hotel near Coventry (see our review for the Macdonald Brandon Hall), so this small and quiet hotel near Warwick was a veritable oasis. Slightly dated decor, but the rooms were comfortable, the hotel was quiet (mercifully wedding-free - but check this before you book) and the service - particularly in... more
