We stayed at Ibis Birmingham city centre as it is ideally located for a night out in the city (literally ext door to arcadian centre). The hotel is under refurbishment and therefore we experienced some difficulties with the lift (one is refurbished so the other one is crowded). the positive,staff were friendly and responded to complaint promptly,hotel security high. The negative,the carpet had not seen a hoover or clean for a long time.The walls were paper thin and the noise outside at night is high.
